All performances at McCullough Theatre

Lenski, introduces his friend Eugene Onegin to the woman he is courting, Olga, and her sister, Tatiana. Tatiana falls in love with Onegin, and writes him a letter proclaiming her love. He responds by saying they can only be friends, and that she should learn to control her emotions. Later, at Tatiana’s birthday party, Onegin flirts and dances with Olga. Lenski challenges Onegin to a duel. Although both are filled with remorse over the situation, neither stops the duel and Lenski is killed. Several years later, Onegin returns to St. Petersburg to find Tatiana married to Prince Gremin. He tries to convince her to run away with him. She responds that while she still loves Onegin, she will not leave her husband.

Eugene Onegin will be performed in Russian.
